Steve and Brittany, with co-author Linda Hooper-Bui, have published a paper reviewing what is known about the effects of oil spills on the “terrestrial arthropods” (basically insects and spiders) that live in coastal marshes. There is not a whole lot known, but we lay out a research agenda for future work. The paper was published in a special issue of Bioscience focused on effects of the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
