Review paper from Chelse and Chuan-Kai about invertebrate ecology

Congratulations to Chelse Prather, Chuan-Kai Ho and their coauthors on the publication of their review paper,

“Invertebrates, ecosystem services and climate change”, in Biological Reviews. May 2013, Volume 88, pages 327-348.

This paper grew out of an LTER graduate student working group, and is fun to read for many reasons. It turns out that invertebrates matter a lot, but we often don’t know very much about exactly how they matter, and how this will be affected by climate change. So you can read the paper to get research ideas.  Or just for personal edification–I enjoyed the section on insects and spirituality, and the contributions of insects to the arts!
